The aluminium geodesic dome frame provides an extremely strong and virtually maintenance free structure. It has been shown to withstand winds in excess of 120mph — making it the perfect safe structure for a skylight. Nothing can compare to the Solardome for providing a structure light enough and strong enough to be simply and safely erected on an existing flat roof. Please note: All of our domes are designed for self assembly and are single glazed. We do not provide the flashing or architectural details for the roof/dome interface.
